Which product fits your job#

Run many page-level redirects across up to 30 domains

SiteDetour

Professional is $45/month for 30 hosted domains and publishes unlimited redirect destinations through path-based rules.

Manage around 100 domains that mostly use whole-domain forwarding

RedirHub

Core with 100-domain capacity is $89/month; SiteDetour moves above 30 domains to Business, which starts at $175/month.

Run a small personalized QR or campaign-link program

SiteDetour

Personal is $12/month with 20 Smart QR Codes and one personalization audience; Professional is $45 with 250 Smart QR Codes and 10 audiences.

Operate hundreds or thousands of dynamic QR destinations without needing SiteDetour-style audience targeting

RedirHub

Core includes 2,500 managed links for $49/month, and a managed link can be a dynamic QR destination or branded link.

The important difference is not simply which product has more features. It is how each product packages the work. SiteDetour is especially aggressive below 30 domains and gives marketing teams built-in audience routing. RedirHub separates domain capacity from managed-link capacity, which changes the economics once domain or link volume grows.

How the pricing models differ#

SiteDetour prices plans[1] around hosted domains, Smart QR Codes, and personalization audiences. Personal is $12/month for five hosted domain names, 20 Smart QR Codes, and one audience. Professional is $45/month for 30 hosted domain names, 250 Smart QR Codes, 10 audiences, and unlimited redirect destinations through path-based rules. Both plans include automatic HTTPS, real-time analytics, REST API access, and unlimited team members.

Business starts at $175/month and publishes unlimited hosted redirects, Smart QR Codes, and audiences, with pricing based on the number of domains configured. SiteDetour's public page contains a calculator whose rendered formula does not reconcile cleanly with the visible starting-price label, so this comparison uses only the published $175 starting point rather than inventing a configured Business price.

RedirHub Core is $49/month[2] with 25 domains and 2,500 managed links. Domain capacity and managed-link capacity expand independently. A basic whole-domain redirect uses domain capacity but does not consume a managed link; a separately configured migration mapping, branded link, or dynamic QR destination does.

Five simple domains#

For a small portfolio, SiteDetour is the cheaper buy. Five hosted domains fit in Personal at $12/month. The smallest paid RedirHub plan is Core at $49/month, although Core includes substantially more capacity.

Our call

Choose SiteDetour if five domains are enough and you want the lowest paid entry point.

Thirty domains with path rules#

SiteDetour Professional includes 30 hosted domains and unlimited redirect destinations through path-based rules for $45/month. RedirHub's next domain-capacity step after 25 is 100 domains, making the comparable Core configuration $89/month.

Core (100 domains)

$89/mo[2]

100-domain capacity

$44 per month cheaper with SiteDetour for this 30-domain job

That makes SiteDetour $44/month cheaper for this particular 30-domain job, before considering its unlimited team members and personalization audiences.

Our call

SiteDetour has the stronger published price for a redirect program that fits inside 30 domains and needs many path-level destinations.

One hundred domains#

At 100 domains, the comparison reverses. RedirHub Core with 100-domain capacity is $89/month. SiteDetour requires Business above the 30-domain Professional allowance, and Business starts at $175/month.

So RedirHub is at least $86/month cheaper at this scale based on the prices each vendor publishes. SiteDetour's configured Business price may be higher, so $86 is the minimum published gap rather than an estimate of the final SiteDetour quote.

Our call

RedirHub has the clearer price advantage for a 100-domain estate when SiteDetour's Business-only capabilities are not the reason you are buying.

Website migrations#

Both products can handle website-migration redirect work, but their capacity models favor different shapes of migration.

SiteDetour's redirect documentation[3] lets one source domain contain a default rule plus path entries. Its path rules document 301, 302, and 307 responses, path forwarding, query forwarding, and longest-match selection. Professional publishes unlimited redirect destinations through those path-based rules.

That makes SiteDetour unusually strong for a migration with a small number of source domains and a large number of changed page paths. If you are moving one site with thousands of old-to-new URL mappings, the $45 Professional plan can be a very efficient fit.

RedirHub counts each separately configured old-to-new migration mapping as one managed link. Core includes 2,500 managed links at $49/month; 10,000 managed links on Core is $89/month. If paths stay the same, a whole-domain redirect with path forwarding can cover the move without consuming managed-link capacity.

The trade-off is therefore straightforward: SiteDetour is attractive when path-rule volume is high but the domain count stays under 30. RedirHub becomes more attractive when the migration estate spans more domains, or when the same account also needs substantial branded-link and QR capacity.

Both vendors also support bulk workflows. SiteDetour documents CSV import and export[4], including previewing imported rows before committing them. RedirHub includes bulk redirect import/export on all current paid plans.

QR codes and personalized campaign routing#

SiteDetour has a distinct strength here. Its personalization audiences[5] can route visitors by geography, device, operating system, language, time, referrer, query parameters, and other criteria. Those audiences can be attached to redirects or Smart Links, so the decision happens at the redirect layer before the destination page loads.

For a marketing team running 20 dynamic QR codes, SiteDetour Personal costs $12/month and includes one audience. Professional costs $45/month and raises the allowance to 250 Smart QR Codes and 10 audiences. SiteDetour also publishes unlimited team members on these plans.

RedirHub Core costs $49/month and includes 2,500 managed links shared across branded links, dynamic QR destinations, and migration mappings. That gives RedirHub much more raw link capacity around the same monthly price as SiteDetour Professional, but SiteDetour is the better fit when its built-in audience-personalization model is central to the campaign.

A useful breakpoint is 250 QR codes. At 251, SiteDetour's published Professional allowance is exceeded and Business starts at $175/month. If you do not need SiteDetour's audience routing, 251 to 2,500 dynamic QR destinations still fit inside RedirHub Core at $49/month.

Teams, APIs, and operational control#

SiteDetour publishes unlimited team members and REST API access even on Personal. Business adds SSO, onboarding/import assistance, and priority support. This is a strong package for agencies or marketing teams that need many collaborators without moving to a higher seat tier.[6]

RedirHub Core includes three team members, while Pro and Enterprise include unlimited team members. REST API access is available across RedirHub plans. RedirHub also publishes redirect capabilities that matter more to some infrastructure teams, including 308 redirects on Core and above, wildcard subdomain redirects on Pro and Enterprise, and random or sequential multi-destination routing on Pro.

The right choice depends on whether the job is primarily collaborative campaign personalization or a broader domain-and-link infrastructure estate.

Feature comparison#

"Not listed" is not the same as "unsupported." SiteDetour's public documentation used here does not list 308 as a redirect option, so the comparison does not make a stronger negative claim.

Where SiteDetour is the better fit#

SiteDetour is the more compelling choice when the work is concentrated in a small or mid-sized domain set and the team values campaign flexibility.

  • Small paid setup $12/month covers five domains, 20 Smart QR Codes, and one audience.
  • Path-heavy migrations under 30 domains Professional publishes unlimited path-based redirect destinations for $45/month.
  • Personalized campaigns audience rules can route by geography, device, time, language, referrer, query parameters, and other visitor context.
  • Large collaboration group at modest scale unlimited team members are published even on Personal and Professional.

These are real advantages. A buyer with 10 domains, thousands of path rules, and a large marketing team should not assume RedirHub is automatically the better deal.

Where RedirHub is the better fit#

RedirHub becomes more attractive when capacity moves beyond SiteDetour's lower tiers or when the redirect estate mixes domains, migration rules, branded links, and QR destinations.

  • Larger domain portfolios 100 domains on Core cost $89/month, compared with SiteDetour Business starting at $175/month above the 30-domain Professional limit.
  • Higher link and QR volume Core includes 2,500 managed links for $49/month, and managed links can be branded links, dynamic QR destinations, or migration mappings.
  • Independent scaling domain capacity and managed-link capacity can be expanded separately rather than moving the whole account into a different packaged tier.
  • Specific redirect controls approved RedirHub product facts include 308 redirects on all paid plans plus wildcard subdomains and random/sequential multi-destination routing on Pro.

That makes RedirHub especially relevant for SEO, IT, and web operations teams running a growing domain estate rather than primarily a personalized marketing-link program.

Yes. SiteDetour publishes automatic HTTPS / SSL support on its current plans, and its redirect setup documentation describes certificate provisioning after DNS is pointed to the service.

SiteDetour currently publishes a 14-day free trial for up to three hosted redirects, three dynamic QR codes, and three personalization audiences. Its pricing page does not list a permanent free plan.

Yes. SiteDetour documents CSV import and export with a preview step. RedirHub includes bulk redirect import and export on its current paid plans.
