At a glance#

Website migration or retired-domain redirects

RedirHub

Domain capacity and managed-link capacity are explicit, separate units, with path and query forwarding, bulk import/export and automatic HTTPS.

Branded links and QR codes with public self-service pricing

RedirHub

Core starts at $49/month with 25 domains and 2,500 managed links, and pricing scales independently by domains and managed links.

Connected packaging and GS1 Digital Link

BL.INK

Loftware now positions BL.INK directly around dynamic QR codes, GS1 Digital Link, packaging workflows, governance and product-level digital experiences.

Rule-based links by device, location, language or time

BL.INK

BL.INK documents rule-based routing across those conditions and supports bulk creation of rule-based links.

Enterprise link governance with link locks, groups and QR templates

BL.INK

BL.INK Enterprise documents controls for shared link ownership, locked links, SAML SSO and organization-wide QR templates.

General branded-link or QR program where both products fit

Depends

Compare BL.INK's current quote with RedirHub's public capacity model, then decide whether enterprise governance or redirect/domain workflows matter more.

The products are moving in different directions#

BL.INK is still a link-management product, but its current public positioning has shifted materially since Loftware acquired it. The live BL.INK pricing URL[1] now resolves to Loftware Connected Packaging[2], where the product is presented around dynamic QR codes, GS1 Digital Link, consumer engagement, packaging workflows, analytics and enterprise integrations.

That matters because a buyer searching for "BL.INK vs RedirHub" may be comparing two products that overlap technically but solve different primary jobs.

RedirHub's public product scope is narrower and more infrastructure-oriented: URL redirects, website migrations, domain portfolios, branded links and dynamic QR codes. The current RedirHub pricing page[3] defines domains separately from managed links, where a managed link is an active branded link, dynamic QR code or separately managed migration mapping.

Our call

Choose based on the job, not the shared feature labels.

BL.INK is increasingly an enterprise QR and connected-packaging platform with link management underneath it; RedirHub is redirect and domain infrastructure that also supports branded links and QR codes.

Pricing: one side is public, the other is now quote-led#

RedirHub publishes its current monthly capacity model:

  • Core: $49/month, including 25 domains and 2,500 managed links.
  • Pro: $119/month, including 250 domains and 10,000 managed links.
  • Enterprise: custom pricing.
  • Domain capacity and managed-link capacity can be increased independently.
  • Annual billing gives twelve months for the price of ten.

BL.INK's current public commercial surface is different. The live BL.INK pricing URL[1] redirects to Loftware Connected Packaging and asks buyers to request a consultation instead of displaying self-service plan prices.

An older official BL.INK Plans Overview[4] still documents a self-service lineup and says those plans include branded and unbranded links, basic analytics, import/export, API access and integrations. That support article also says plan limits and pricing are subject to change. Because the live commercial surface no longer publishes those cards, we do not treat the older dollar figures as current buying prices.

Our call

If price transparency and predictable self-service capacity are important before talking to sales, RedirHub is easier to model.

If BL.INK's enterprise governance or connected-packaging capabilities are the reason you are buying, ask BL.INK for a current quote instead of relying on older support-page prices.

Website migrations and domain redirects#

This is where the products differ most in intent.

RedirHub treats a root domain and its www version as one domain, while other hostnames count separately. A basic whole-domain redirect uses domain capacity, while separately configured migration mappings use managed-link capacity. Core includes 25 domains and 2,500 managed links for $49/month.

That structure is useful when you are moving a website, consolidating old domains, preserving paths and query parameters, or maintaining a portfolio of retired brand domains. RedirHub also documents automatic HTTPS, bulk redirect import/export, 301/302/307/308 redirect support, path forwarding and query-parameter forwarding.

BL.INK can migrate short links and import large link sets, but its documented migration workflow is primarily about moving branded short links between link-management platforms. Its Enterprise CSV import[5] supports batches of up to 10,000 links and can also create rule-based links.

Our call

For a website migration or domain-redirection estate, start with RedirHub.

For a migration whose core asset is an existing branded-short-link program, BL.INK is a more direct comparison.

Both products can run branded links and QR codes on custom domains.

RedirHub includes short links, QR generation, redirect analytics, REST API access and bulk import/export in its current approved product facts. Core includes 2,500 managed links, which can be a mix of branded links, dynamic QR destinations and migration mappings.

BL.INK's official support documentation says its self-service plans include branded links, analytics, import/export and API access. Its enterprise product goes further on governance. BL.INK documents organization-level QR templates[6], link templates, groups and link-locking controls.

BL.INK also has a meaningful packaging-specific advantage. Loftware's current Connected Packaging product explicitly positions dynamic QR codes as product identifiers that can be updated after printing, tied to GS1 Digital Link and governed across enterprise packaging workflows.

Our call

For marketing links and QR codes where you mainly need a branded domain, editable destination and analytics, both are credible.

For packaging, GS1, product-level QR governance or regulated enterprise workflows, BL.INK is the more specialized product.

Dynamic routing#

The word "dynamic" means different things across these products.

RedirHub Pro supports multiple destinations with Random and Sequential routing, which is useful for traffic distribution and simple A/B-style flows.

BL.INK documents rule-based links that can route by conditions such as country, device, operating system, language, day of week and time. Its Enterprise bulk-import workflow can create those rules at scale.

If conditional routing is central to your use case, define the exact condition you need before comparing plans. "Multiple destinations" and "rule-based routing" are not interchangeable.

BL.INK has made link-health monitoring a visible part of its current product. Its Broken Links view[7] automatically checks active links daily and idle links weekly, then surfaces links returning non-2xx or non-3xx statuses.

Loftware's current Connected Packaging page also highlights broken-link alerts and backup destinations as part of keeping printed QR codes useful over time.

This is especially relevant when a QR code is printed on packaging or a long-lived physical asset, because the cost of a stale destination is higher than changing a digital campaign link.

Enterprise controls#

Both products have enterprise controls, but the emphasis differs.

RedirHub currently documents SAML SSO on Enterprise, a $200/month SSO add-on on Pro, and Audit Log on Enterprise.

BL.INK documents SAML SSO for Enterprise[8], groups and shared links, link locks, QR templates, link templates and enterprise roles. Those controls are tightly aligned with large teams that need standardized link and QR creation across brands or business units.

For procurement, ask both vendors for the controls you actually require rather than comparing the word "Enterprise."

How to decide#

  1. Start with the asset you are managing: domains and redirects, or branded links and product QR codes.
  2. Count your domains, active links and migration mappings.
  3. Decide whether you need conditional routing, QR templates, link locking, GS1 Digital Link or packaging governance.
  4. Price RedirHub from its public capacity model.
  5. Ask BL.INK for a current quote if its enterprise or connected-packaging features are the better fit.
  6. Run a representative workflow in each product before moving a large link or domain estate.

Frequently asked questions

Not on its current live commercial surface. The BL.INK pricing URL redirects to Loftware Connected Packaging, which asks buyers to request a consultation. An older official support article still lists self-service plans, but it also says pricing can change, so we do not present those amounts as current prices.
