Short answer: No. The domain redirhub.top is not owned, operated, or endorsed by RedirHub in any way. It is an impersonation domain, and our services are completely separate from it.

What is redirhub.top?#

redirhub.top is a domain registered in July 2025 — long after RedirHub launched — that has been observed acting as a redirect hop in a malvertising campaign. It is unrelated to our company, our product, and our infrastructure. The only thing it shares with us is a deceptively similar name, which is exactly why it's worth addressing directly.

Based on public threat intelligence and our own monitoring, here's how the abuse works:

  An attacker buys low-quality or compromised ad slots on legitimate websites (often through hacked WordPress ad plugins).

  When a visitor clicks (or is auto-redirected), the traffic is bounced through redirhub.top/visit.php as an intermediate hop.
• •
  The visitor finally lands on a scareware / scam page — fake virus warnings, fake prizes, or pressure to install software.

Because the domain is purpose-built to shuffle traffic toward scams, it has been flagged by multiple security vendors and blocklists. That's a good thing — it means the ecosystem is working to protect users.
