One old site, two new homes. Every product link still works.
When the old opritech.co.nz site was split between two new Cubro sites, Cubro mapped about 600 old pages to their new homes, one by one. Nearly two years on, old links still land on the right page.

One old site, split by what customers came for
The old opritech.co.nz site covered two kinds of business. In 2024 its content was split: modular operating theatres (design, construction and maintenance) went to the Cubro Opritech site, and furniture, fixtures and equipment such as theatre tables, examination lights, plinths and trolleys went to cubro.co.nz.
Customers had years of links to the old pages, in bookmarks, emails, documents and other websites. Sending them all to a home page would have left each of them to search again. So Cubro mapped every product, category and article page to the matching page on whichever new site now carries it: about 600 page-level redirects, each a permanent 301 over HTTPS.
The right table, not the home page
Where a product carried over, its old page goes straight to the same product on cubro.co.nz: the Skytron 3603 UltraSlide operating table, for example. Where there is no exact match, the link goes to the product's category, so a buyer still sees the current range. The old blog points to Cubro's operating theatre articles, and the old home page to the Cubro Opritech operating theatre site.
Still working, nearly two years on
The old addresses have not gone quiet. In the last six months alone they received more than 13,000 visits, lately about a third to the old home page and the rest to product listings, the blog and individual products. Each of those visitors reached a current Cubro or Cubro Opritech page, and the certificates for the old domain renew on their own.
