redirs vs RedirHub (2026): Pricing, Redirect Rules & Best Fit
redirs and RedirHub are close managed-redirect alternatives. redirs is often cheaper for low-cost forwarding; RedirHub fits mixed domains, large mapping sets, CSV and branded short links.
We build RedirHub. We point out where redirs is the better buy, and how to check against your own setup.
The short answer
Choose RedirHub if
- your redirect estate mixes domains with large mapping sets
- you want CSV import/export and API management together
- you also manage branded short links
- you want domain capacity and managed-link capacity to scale independently
Choose redirs if
- you mainly need managed domain forwarding and path rules
- its per-hostname limits fit your workload
- you want the lowest published monthly price for that job
Pricing#
redirs uses a hostname and rules-per-hostname capacity model.[1] RedirHub uses separate domain and managed-link allowances.
The current public monthly tiers are redirs Free at USD 0, Starter at USD 12, Pro at USD 48 and Business at USD 180. RedirHub Core is USD 49 per month and Pro is USD 119 per month.
redirs Free includes 5 hostnames and 10 rules per hostname. Starter includes 15 hostnames and 100 rules per hostname. Pro includes 100 hostnames and 1,000 rules per hostname. Business includes 500 hostnames with no published per-hostname rule cap. RedirHub Core includes 25 domains and 2,500 managed links; Pro includes 250 domains and 10,000 managed links.
The redirs pricing page[2] lists hostname add-ons of 15 more hostnames for USD 10/month on Starter, 100 more for USD 40/month on Pro, and 100 more for USD 30/month on Business. It also advertises yearly billing with two months free. RedirHub's current pricing[3] gives 12 months for the price of 10 on annual billing.
Both products treat the ordinary apex-plus-www setup as one capacity unit: redirs says www does not use another hostname slot, while RedirHub gives a root domain automatic www coverage in one domain slot.
Best fit by buyer job#
- Up to 15 simple redirect hostnames choose redirs. Starter is USD 12/month and includes automatic HTTPS plus 100 rules per hostname.
- 25 root domains plus their www variants, mostly whole-domain forwarding redirs is cheaper. Starter plus one 15-hostname add-on is USD 22/month for 30 hostname slots; RedirHub Core is USD 49/month for 25 domains.
- One domain with about 500 changed-path mappings either product can fit closely on price. redirs Pro is USD 48/month for up to 1,000 rules on that hostname; RedirHub Core is USD 49/month and includes 2,500 managed links.
- 100 domains with modest rule counts redirs Pro is USD 48/month for 100 hostnames; RedirHub Core at 100 domains is USD 89/month before any extra managed-link capacity.
- Bulk CSV migration workflow choose RedirHub if CSV is a hard requirement. RedirHub includes CSV import and export on all plans; the redirs public product page documents an API but does not list CSV import/export.
- Redirects plus branded short links in one workspace choose RedirHub. Branded short links are part of RedirHub's managed-link model; the reviewed redirs public page is focused on domain redirects and does not list a short-link product.
Where redirs is the better buy#
redirs is unusually aggressive on price for a managed redirect service. Its Starter plan is USD 12/month for 15 hostnames, and the public page says another 15-hostname block costs USD 10/month.
That means a portfolio of 25 root domains plus their www variants can fit into 30 hostname slots for USD 22/month, assuming the public add-on applies as listed. RedirHub Core is USD 49/month for 25 domains. Both products count the ordinary apex-plus-www setup as one capacity unit.
Our call
For a mostly whole-domain forwarding portfolio where price is the main constraint, redirs is the better buy at this scale.
The same pattern holds at 100 domains. redirs Pro is USD 48/month for 100 hostnames. RedirHub Core reaches 100 domains at USD 89/month. RedirHub should not be chosen for this job just because it has a broader product surface; redirs is cheaper when its model matches the workload.
A 500-page migration is almost a price tie#
The comparison changes when the work is not just forwarding a domain, but sending old paths to specific new destinations.
For 500 changed-path mappings on one source domain, redirs Starter is too small because it allows 100 rules per hostname. redirs Pro allows 1,000 rules per hostname at USD 48/month.
RedirHub Core includes 2,500 managed links at USD 49/month, so the same 500 separately configured mappings fit in the base plan.
That is only a USD 1/month difference. Price is not the useful deciding factor here.

Calculate your setupDecision
For a 500-mapping migration on one domain, choose based on workflow.
redirs gives you a rules-per-host model and a REST API; RedirHub gives you a shared managed-link allowance plus CSV import/export and API management.
If the paths do not change, neither product needs 500 separate mappings. A whole-domain rule with path forwarding can handle the migration instead.
Capacity models#
redirs is easiest to size when each hostname has a predictable number of rules. RedirHub separates domain capacity from managed-link capacity, so the two allowances can grow independently.
A portfolio with many domains and few rules per domain can be cheaper on redirs. A portfolio with fewer domains but many individually managed mappings can make RedirHub's shared managed-link allowance easier to size.
Do not compare a per-hostname rule allowance with a managed-link allowance as though they were the same global quota. They measure capacity differently.
Redirect controls and operating workflow#
Both products cover the core redirect job well. The redirs homepage[2] documents 301, 302, 307 and 308 redirects, automatic HTTPS, path and query forwarding, wildcard redirects, analytics, team organizations and a REST API. It also lists path-prefix and path-map matching, regex matching on Pro, dynamic destinations on Pro, and advanced routing and fallbacks on Business.
RedirHub currently supports the same four redirect status codes, automatic HTTPS, path and query forwarding, a management API on all plans, and redirect analytics. Wildcard subdomain redirects are available on Pro and Enterprise.
The practical RedirHub difference is the workflow around a mixed redirect estate. RedirHub includes CSV import and export on all plans, and branded short links use the same managed-link model. The reviewed redirs public page does not list CSV bulk management or a branded short-link product. That is not proof those capabilities are impossible on redirs; it only means they are not established by the current public surface.
Teams and analytics#
For a small team, redirs Starter and RedirHub Core both allow three team members. redirs Pro allows 10 users, while RedirHub Pro allows unlimited team members. redirs Business also allows unlimited users.
redirs Starter lists 30 days of analytics history and Pro lists six months. RedirHub Core keeps 90 days and Pro keeps six months.
The Starter-versus-Core decision is therefore not only about monthly price. redirs is materially cheaper, while RedirHub Core provides a longer analytics window and the bulk/link workflows described above.
Choose RedirHub if your redirect estate mixes domains with large mapping sets
You want CSV import/export and API management together, or you also manage branded short links and want domain capacity and managed-link capacity to scale independently.

For many straightforward domain-forwarding setups, yes. redirs is priced lower at the entry and 100-hostname examples above. The decision becomes less about sticker price when your workload is driven by larger mapping sets, bulk operations or other managed-link jobs.
Yes. The current redirs page says HTTPS is provisioned automatically. RedirHub also provides automatic HTTPS.
Yes. redirs lists all four status codes on its current feature surface, and RedirHub also supports all four across its paid plans.
If the migration is mostly domain forwarding or a predictable number of path rules per hostname, redirs can be the cheaper option. If you have a large mapping file and want CSV import/export plus a shared pool of managed links across domains, RedirHub is the better operational fit.
Yes. Its public site documents a REST API. RedirHub also includes its management API on all paid plans.
