A free checker that follows a URL from start to finish and reports every hop: status code, headers, meta refresh redirects, loops, and the canonical tag and X-Robots-Tag on the final page. Runs as Googlebot or any browser, takes up to 100 URLs at a time, and has an open API.
Where RedirectCheck fits with RedirHub#
- Before you move a domain. Run its current URLs through the bulk checker to record where each one goes today, so you can recreate the same redirects in RedirHub.
- After you switch DNS. Run the list again with each expected destination, to confirm every URL lands where it did before.
- Past the first hop. RedirHub serves the redirect on your domain. The site it sends visitors to may redirect again or mark the page noindex, and RedirectCheck shows that part of the path.
