Questions before you launch

始めるには何が必要ですか？
旧サイトと新サイト、それぞれの URL リストが必要です。サイトマップの URL が最適ですが、URL を貼り付ける（1 行に 1 つ）か、Screaming Frog などのクローラーからエクスポートした CSV をアップロードすることもできます。完全な URL でもパスのみでも構いません。
照合先がない URL はどうすればよいですか？
関連性の高い上位ページ（カテゴリやセクション）があれば、そこにリダイレクトします。コンテンツが完全に削除され、新サイトに代わるページがない場合は 410 Gone を設定します。すべてをトップページに転送するのは避けてください。検索エンジンはそれをソフト 404 と見なすことがよくあります。
サイト移行には 301 と 302 のどちらを使うべきですか？
サイト移行には 301（恒久的）を使います。移転が確定したことを検索エンジンに伝え、インデックスを更新してもらえます。302 は、元に戻す予定の段階的なリリースなど、一時的に移動するページにのみ使います。
サイト移行後、リダイレクトはどのくらい残すべきですか？
少なくとも 1 年は残し、旧 URL にまだトラフィックや被リンクがある場合はさらに長く残してください。早期に削除すると、それらのリンクは再び 404 になります。Google も、サイト移転のリダイレクトはできるだけ長く維持することを推奨しています。

リダイレクトマップは、旧サイトのすべての URL を新サイトで最も近いページと対応付け、使用する HTTP ステータス（通常は 301）を記載した一覧です。検索エンジンや既存の被リンクはこれらのリダイレクトをたどるため、旧ページが獲得したトラフィックや評価シグナルは 404 にならず引き継がれます。
